This is my first semester of teaching music at Capistrano Elementary.  Each Kinder, 1st and 2nd grade class is receiving nine 30-minute lessons.  

 

Capistrano is lucky enough to have Orff instruments which the students are learning to play. The third grade is learning to read music and to play the recorder.

 

The Capistrano Chorus is made up of 4th and 5th grade students.  There will be a spring concert this year on April 27th where the Chorus will sing, the third grade will play recorders, and Mr. Tillman’s second grade class will demonstrate the Orff instruments.
